Even though she had quite a comfortable life working as the head specialist at Mungo's, Sornlee was an opportunist. There was always a side hustle or plan that she enjoyed occupying her time with. Despite being a 'reformed' Death Eater and having to play nice with majority of the wizards she encountered during the day, she had other aspirations. Throwing her dark cloak around her body and covering her vibrant coloured hair and majority of her face, she glanced around to see if she could spot anyone paying attention to her, as she slipped down the alleyway of Knockturn Alley.
This hustle, her little project, was an ongoing one. She was quite adept with her potions, poisons and plants, she knew their properties and how to utilise them in ways others didn't think about. And this particular project was a tricky one. The Elixir of Life was a potion quite well known. But it was near impossible to comprehend that this potion would be made again, the Philosopher's Stone was long gone - presumably. No, she knew that she was onto something different - it was an elixir of youth. She had an innate fear of showing her real identity, being vulnerable for people to judge, age was just another symptom of her fear.
She didn't want to age, at least not entirely. Sornlee has survived another birthday, now in the land of 34 year old's, she didn't fancy herself aging to her 40's. Wrinkles, signs of greying hair... no - she didn't like that idea at all. Slipping down another side alley, she rounded the corner and spied over her shoulder once again. Coming up to a shady looking individual, she avoided the light as she drew closer to them. An exchange happened quickly, no words were spoken but a bag of coins, some jewels and a swap of a poison she crafted quickly exchanged hands. She finally found an ingredient that she was searching for. Quickly tucking the package inside her cloak, the transaction was swift and she quickly scurried away back to the usual alley and the more towards the light. Sornlee relaxed a little as she coolly pulled her hood off her head and face, walking through the alley...
