Lalia smiled and thanked the audience when she finished singing the latest song she made. She enjoyed writing, especially when they helped her a lot in the past to go through heartbreaks. It had been easy for her to spread her thoughts into a song whenever she felt like it. She was done for the night and let the next artist take the stage while she would get herself a drink before heading home. She didn’t intend to stay in any longer than she should after all. She didn’t spot Ezekiel around but she did catch the sight of a friend from work who looked a bit down. She frowned, heading towards Samuel Bennet, wondering why he was in such a state. She hoped that there was something she could do to make him feel better. After all, he had caught her too looking down on a few occasions mostly due to failed relationships. It seemed like she always went for the wrong ones but lately, she had tried to keep herself from doing that and decided to focus on her music instead which helped keep her sane!
She asked for a butterbeer and joined the guy at his table, putting her guitar carefully aside so it wouldn’t fall as she talked with him. “Hey Sam, how are you?” She asked cautiously. She didn’t know how he would take it if she openly worried for him, but he turned out to become a good friend of hers and she hoped there was something she could do to ease some of his worries, whatever they were. She couldn’t say she stayed updated with his life in general and had no idea what to expect from this encounter, as many things could come out of it so she wanted him to know that she was there if he wanted to speak.
